Challenge
Build the core booking and payment domains while integrating them into an existing collaborative Next.js frontend and several external services.
Solution
Built the listing and booking backend, payment-aware delivery lifecycle, Stripe Connect flows, dashboards, moderation, reviews, media, and mapping integrations.
Architecture
Express and MongoDB enforce booking transitions and role policies; Stripe webhooks drive payment truth while scheduled jobs, sockets, email, and typed frontend modules coordinate operations.

- Built listings and bookings with role-aware transitions, pricing, counteroffers, availability, completion, and approval behavior.
- Implemented Stripe payments and Connect onboarding with saved methods, webhooks, transaction tracking, refunds, flags, idempotency, and payouts.
- Developed buyer, provider, and admin aggregation APIs for spending, revenue, activity, categories, and pending actions.
- Built scheduled and real-time notifications, moderation, reports, provider approval, account controls, and rate limiting.
- Built eligible reviews, provider responses, moderation, distributions, and synchronized listing rating aggregates.
- Integrated categories, favorites, S3/CloudFront media, Google Maps, typed Axios APIs, Zustand state, Zod forms, and role-aware UI workflows.
